PhD, Lama, E-RYT 500, lived in India for 11 years. The first seven years he participated in retreats of Tibetan Buddhist meditation. He took a three-year retreat of Tantric preliminaries, Fivefold Path of Mahamudra, and Six Yogas of Naropa.

The last four years Manu was the Director of the Meditation Research Institute at Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama ashram in Rishikesh, where he offered biofeedback training and studied advanced meditators of Buddhist and Hindu traditions, using state-of-the-art electroencephalographic technology and analyses.

Since 2010 Manu has been teaching meditation / yoga in Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America and is the lead teacher of the Mahamudra yoga school and its teacher training program (TTP) with Yoga Alliance USA, which has dozens of 200-hr graduates. The seventh international Mahamudra TTP took place in Switzerland during 2019-2020.

During 2020 Mahamudra school's students have given birth to two new books: a commentary on mahamudra meditation by Erik Cortés and a manual of hatha yoga teaching training by Lisanne Beerenfenger.

He is currently a meditation and yoga teacher in Finland for the adult education institutions of the cities of Helsinki and Espoo as well as in several private yoga studios.

Manu specializes in a channeled meditative hatha yoga integrated practice that includes soft psycho-physical exercising and asana, prana vidya or science of breath awareness, and mindfulness meditation.
